Grandma's Christmas box
I guess I should get these photos on here now since my mom is back home. My other uncle diagnosed with stage 4 cancer the September before last passed away. My grandma, mom and her sisters went to the funeral in the boon docks of Kansas. Mom said he was buried in the middle of no where at the end of a dirt road with these weird trees that didn't look like trees. The area is where his wife is from. On one hand I'm glad he made it this long. On the other cancer is such an incredibly painful and drawn out way to go. I tell you what. If there is any history at all of colon cancer get yourself or your husband regular check ups early. If not make sure to start getting checked regularly at the appropriate age. I think the age to start is 40.
Guy pulling everything out of the box.
We sat them down with a bag each.
Blake wasn't interested and because he was a little annoyed she honed in on his bag. Who am I kidding? She LOVES to take anything he has especially his passy.
But she didn't know what to do with it when she did get it. Check out Blake's feet!
Guy gave Blake a new bag, but he still wasn't getting it. Madison figured out the paper comes out though.
Here we have unwrapped everything including out toothbrushes which were wrapped in all the red paper behind the kiddos. Madison picked up her sippy cup and put it to her mouth right away.
This photo cracks me up.
Once again, Guy is trying to give Blake his sippy cup.
He finally figured it out. It makes a great throw it down and bang on it toy! ha ha
Ahhh, paper. Blake is getting ready to take off.
Here he is trying to crawl. I have said every week for four weeks, "He is going to crawl this week." When will I learn. As of last night though he can crawl about a foot before giving up now.
Guy putting the vibrating toothbrush up to Blake.
oOOOOOOO
Funny feeling.
Not so funny anymore
Madison wanting to get in on the cry
Another crack me up photo
Here are the ginormous stockings grandma got them for future Christmas's. I still have the pink and blue 'Baby's first Christmas' stockings if anyone wants them.
Close up detail on one of the stockings.

What a darling, darling documentation of the scene! You have precious babies. (and such a talent as a photographer!)
Happy New Year!
Cute, cute pics!! Can't wait to see you guys in Utah!
Sorry to hear about your uncle. :( The pictures of the kiddos were of course, adorable! Next Christmas should be really exciting for all of our babies with them being bigger and a little more aware.
Sorry Shannon but Blake got that from Guy. When we were little and playing footy or cricket in the court he would not last long and want to go inside. Of course I was 5 years older and it was not too much fun for him. Oh well I am sure Blake will get it soon. He will be crawling and walking before you know it. I will work with him when you get out here. ha ha ha
WhitehouseII, ref your comment about me wanting to go inside after 5 minutes. You must have never gotten the memo that stated when playing sports with your 5 year younger brother that you were supposed to give him a glimps of hope that he could compete with you, you are such a competitive person so I understood, still do. That being said, the 5 years now has an advantage old man! Kidding.
However WhitehouseII does have a very good point about Blake. I think I still make the cry face he is using in the pic when he got bored.
Aww, what a fun Christmas!! Looks like they enjoyed their presents!!
:)
