Kids photos & stats update

I must confess the babies have been smiling for a while now, but we haven't been taking their photos while they are smiling. It has been something we have jealously enjoyed for ourselves!

The new thought for the day is how weird it is to be parents! We still feel like we're living in a surreal dream. Guy and I were just talking about it this morning.

Both of them lined up on the grass. The sun was a bit bright so their eyes are pretty squinty in some of them.




Our appointment at their doctors office went really well. She said they are doing well and their progress is fantastic. We got some trial cans of a new formula for Madison to try. She may have an intolerance to cows milk as well as acid reflux. We have fixed the pain of the reflux with putting some cereal in with her formula. This has made a big difference in her pain level with any gas but not in the chuck ups. If the new formula works well then we will get a prescription for it. YEAH for WIC!!! The doctor said this formula is REALLY REALLY expensive.

Blake is almost caught up to Madison on the weight! They are both at least at the average growth rate now. I wasn't expecting them to start hitting the 'normal' milestones in size or functions until about 6 months. They are doing everything that a typical 2 month old is doing now.

lowest weight was about 5 lbs 3 oz (no real weight gain for the first three weeks)

Madison's stats
Birth 6 lbs 7 oz 19 inches
lowest weight was about 5 lbs 7 oz (started gaining weight after one week)
